It is no secret that our planet has taken a toll from modern industrialization. From climate change to plastic pollution to deforestation to carbon emissions. We are using the world’s natural resources faster than the earth is able to replenish them. Which calls for a solution, Hemp is one of those solutions
Scientific studies have shown that hemp is a stronger and more cost effective alternative to many of the materials we use today. The fiber inside of hemp can be used as a biodegradable alternative to plastic, offering the same capabilities as synthetic plastics but being biodegradable. This is a solution to ending plastic pollution because plastic takes over 400 years to decompose, with 6.9 billion metric tons of plastic becoming waste, often flooding our oceans and disrupting entire ecosystems
Hemp can also be used to produce fuel, it can produce two types of fuel. Biodiesel and methanol . Hemp can also be used to make steel, even Henry Ford used hemp steel to run his very first car
We cut down 15 billion trees every single year. The tree population has decreased by nearly 50% since the rise of humans. Trees play a vital role in maintaining balance in our ecosystem and without them the world could become inhabitable. But with hemp we’re able to entirely replace the materials produced from trees, it’s the solution to this problem. It doesn’t end there, we also have hempcrete as a replacement for concrete and hemp wood a replacement for wood. One acre of hemp will produce two to three acres of cotton and it is softer and stronger. One acre of hemp will produce as much paper as two to four acres of trees. Hemp has been used to produce entire cars, houses and more

One of the most impressive things about hemp is its ability to restore and heal the environment. It is one of the fastest growing plants, it is able to pull carbon out of the atmosphere, cleaning the air. It is also able to pull heavy metals out of the soil, allowing for higher quality crops to grow
After we 3D print the homes/infrastructure we will begin to mass produce hemp. We will also use hemp as a base material for our 3D printed homes
it is time for us to stop complaining and focus on solutions and start taking action
